Salary: $50,000/year + 2% commissions on media spend of managed clients

Location: Atlanta, GA

Hours of work: Hours of work are from 8:00 AM ET to 5:00 PM ET.  However, that does not preclude you from taking work home or staying at the office later to finish particular projects.

Vacation: We provide some leniency and flexibility to our team on when they’d like to take vacation.  We ask employees not to abuse this policy but to use it at their discretion and simply update the team when requesting time off.

Position Details (Senior Media Planner)

Local media groups, multi-location brands, trade desks and local-focused networks leverage Propellant Media’s ability to customize audiences to local needs, and to deliver superior performance on high volumes of localized campaigns.

Work in advertising sales, event marketing, sports marketing, radio, newspaper and magazine publication, or online advertising is a plus.

Requirement & Qualifications For Position:

  • Reports to Justin Croxton – CEO
  • Proactively manages new and existing relationships with clients
  • Assist with new business development pitches
  • Manage daily execution of programmatic and/or Adwords/FB/LinkedIn campaigns
  • Pull programmatic and geofencing reports and analyze performance data. Provide interpretation of such data and strategic steps to meet client’s core goals and objectives.
  • Partner and assist media planners (VP’s & Partners) with strategy development & kickoff calls with existing and new clients
  • Build programmatic display campaigns, Review for accuracy and ensure programmatic and/or digital campaigns are built properly with thorough spot check and quality assurance. Digital channels include Programmatic Display, Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others.
  • Suggest and implement optimization techniques for active campaigns
  • Facilitate and coordinate campaign execution between all teams
  • Understand client’s business needs and provide clients with tools and assets to achieve stated objectives
  • Maintain a high-level knowledge of up-to-date best practices and strategies in the management of online media (programmatic, adwords, seo, Hubspot and social media)
  • Work with senior leadership at Propellant Media on new growth initiatives at the agency (Hubspot, Adwords, SEO, Creative & Content Development, etc…)
  • Note: Added responsibilities outside the scope of said role may arise from time to time (i.e. Creative Assets developed from our creative director)
  • Possess strong project management and media planning experience
  • Expand relationships with SEM & Display agencies, advertisers, and networks in a way that maximizes revenue opportunities and client satisfaction
  • Work with other Propellant Sales Directors on cross-territory opportunities
  • Understand (and communicate to other Propellant Media personnel) industry landscapes, trends, participants and competitive offerings
  • Understand and effectively communicate Propellant’s value proposition, technology, processes, partnerships as they relate to the growth of current and prospective client accounts
  • Work with marketing and other departments to develop case studies and related marketing materials
  • Previous experience in B2B or B2C inside/outside sales
  • Prior experience in jobs like digital marketing/marketing/public relations/social media

Basic Requirements

  • A bachelors degree
  • 5+ years digital advertising experience
  • Experience selling/education location-based digital advertising or programmatic platform (OPTIONAL)
  • Media planning experience
  • Experience in Google Adwords, Display, FB, and Offline Channels
  • Evidence of loyalty to previous employers (3+ years)
  • The following certifications are a plus: Google Adwords Certification, Google Analytics Certification, Facebook Blueprint Certification (or a willingness to attain within 3 months of employment)

Job Description

Propellant Media is a digital media agency startup that has experienced incredible growth over the past couple years and we’re looking to hire a Digital Account Manager.  We are hiring highly qualified and motivated Digital Account Managers for our Client Services team located in Atlanta, GA. Ideal candidates will possess strong client interaction, organization, communication, sales, and analytical skills.  Account Managers are responsible for building strong client relationships through exceptional campaign management, optimization, performance and client satisfaction.

Primary activities include (but are not limited to): campaign management, campaign optimization, client account analytics, client calls, Zoom demonstrations of the Propellant Media platform for potential clients, training, strategic and tactical recommendations in relation to client campaigns, and working with the internal Propellant Media team to help grow and develop the product offering.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct Report to Director of Account Services, Christine Burkhart

Desired Skills & Experience
